huge fire at the parkland school district in the lehigh valley. this is new video that came into the newsroom minutes ago, you can see the extent of the flames and the damage. the depot is located behind orfield middle school in or field. we know that 25 buses have been destroyed by heavy fire. parkland schools canceled classes for the day within the last hour. it is unclear what started the fires, we'll stay on top of the breaking story in the lehigh ll debate over school safety continues with calls for increased security in the hallways there are new revelation than an armed resource officer was there in parkland, florida and did nothing. as cruz killed 17 people. officer scott peterson stayed outside the school and never intervened. the officer viewed video showing

battle a massive fire at a school bus depot in the parkland school district in the lehigh valley it's located behind the orville middle school. you can see how expansive it was. 25 buses were destroyed because of that within the last hour, parkland, the school district has canceled classes firefight day. we're monitoring fire crews and their efforts to get it under control. lots of questions about how and where it started. we'll bring you updates as information comes in. knew upset information is emerging about the deadly day on parkland campus. the only armed security guard stayed outside the school instead of running inside to confront the shooter. kenneth moten has more on the debate over gun control. >> reporter: authorities say the school resource deputy was

flames filling a connecticut hospital emergency room as firefighters arrive on the scene. police say a driver purposely drove the car into the hospital and set himself on fire. the car contained multiple containers of gas. the driver 27-year-old was flown to a burn center for treatment. a security guard was treated for smoke. as the florida school
