less than 24 hours after a 7- eleven clerk is shot during a robbery in norfolk---its robbed by a gunmen again. newschannel threes stefania okolie has more on how norfolk police are now investigating different stores in the city. less than 24 hours after a during a robbery at this store on chesapeake boulevard -- it s robbed by a gunman yet (again ( it was one of three seven elevens robbed monday night-- making it three crimes scenes for norfolk police within a matter of one hour. the first one happening at this seven eleven on red gate avenue just before 9-- police say a masked man walked in with a gun -- demanded money-- got it -- and ran out. later -- a robber doing the same routine at this seven eleven on colonial avenue. less than 40 minutes later -- police are back at the 7-11 here on

new this morning the numbers are in---and you didn t win. no one won the jackpot for the powerball last night--and now saturday )s jackpot will set a record. the estimated jackpot is at 675 million--- the largest jackpot in u-s history. if you won the jackpot--you would get about 413 million with the cash payout before taxes. last night )s numbers were 2, 11, 47, 62, and 63 with the powerball of 17. 13 tickets matched the first five numbers... 12 of them win one million dollars. the 13th player chose the "power play" option, and is getting two million bucks. a man is rescued after his tractor trailer goes off the chesapeake bay bridge tunnel. you can see video of what the

it happened closer to the eastern shore side of the bridge tunnel at about 3-30 yesterday afternoon. the driver was able to get out of the tractor trailer and floated until his rescue. he was flown to sentara norfolk general. outcue: ".. melissa told us she wanted to get the word out so other women know this man is on the loose. if you have any information - call the crimeline at 1 888 lock u up. the first charge has been filed in the sandra bland case. a grand jury decided yesterday to indict trooper brian encinia for perjury. bland is the woman who was found dead in her texas jail cell last year. her death was ruled a suicide...but her friends and family say she wouldn )t have killed herself. the charges come from comments the arresting trooper made in a court document. encinia is the trooper who first stopped bland. the jury has already decided not to indict the county sheriff s officer or the jailers. the international community is vowing to punish north korea with additional sanctions following claims the country successfully conducted a hydrogen bomb test. u-s officials as well as other nuclear experts remain skeptical saying a blast of that type would have produced a far more powerful outcome.

a construction project in norfolk is expected to last through early march - crews at the intersection of st paul s boulevard and brambleton avenue are doing utility work. traffic will be reduced to one lane - traffic will be shifted. drivers are encouraged to use the next intersection - the one at boush and church streets instead. macy )s is closing stores and eliminating jobs nationwide - three stores in hampton roads are on the chopping block. the stores at peninsula town center - military circle mall and chesapeake square will soon be closing their doors. 273-people work at these locations. when possible - the retailer says it ll try to offer them positions at nearby stores. the company says

a pot belly pig made an appearance at a portsmouth day care. this is hamilton -- ham -- for short. he managed to get away from his home and took a walk over to the criss cross day care on rodman avenue. he came right up to the window ! employees say ham was very curious -- but to be on the safe side -- they called police to make sure he wasn t vicious. turns out police say he acted more like a dog than a pig -- he

he is a self-made millionaire who most recently served as the president and c- e-o of "cannabis sativa", a marijuana marketing and distribution company based in nevada. an alabama supreme court justice has ordered probate judges to stop issuing marriage licenses to same sex couples. this comes just months after the u-s supreme court issued a landmark ruling that legalized same-sex marriage, nationwide. judge roy moore said --a recent ruling by the u-s court of appeals says the obergefell case only invalidated marriage laws in four states--- michigan, kentucky, ohio and tennessee. as a result, the judge says alabama )s marriage protection act and sanctity of marriage amendment should remain in full force and effect. he says it )s now up to the state s highest court to decide if same-sex marriage should be legal in alabama.
