firefighters and rescue crews were called to carter s grove court just before ten last night. there they found this. firefighter pulled two people out of the truck -- and one of them was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. no one inside the home was hurt. as the city of flint michigan continues to deal with tap water that contains dangerous levels of lead -- folks right here in hampton roads are taking action to make sure people there have clean drinking water. todd corillo shows us the suffolk church spearheading the taking action effort. the experience church is suffolk is leading an effort to collect water -- a staple of basic life -- to send to folks living in flint michigan. residents there now told their drinking water is contaminated -- polluted with dangerously high levels of lead. pastor john moore says he was compelled to act through his faith and his humanity -- after seeing the reports of folks waiting in

virginia beach fire officials say a space heater is the likely cause of a mobile home fire. it happened this morning just before ten on ritzcraft drive. when firefighters got there-- heavy smoke was seen coming from the back of the home. investigators say a portable space heater with damaged wiring likely caused the fire. no one was there at the time. officials say the family will have to be relocated due to the damage. city leaders have broken ground on what will become the new ocean view elementary school. today s ground breaking is part of a project to build five new schools in three years. ocean view elementary school will serve students in kindergarten through fifth grade. the building will also feature a
