the victim )s husband john mackay - was sentenced to 28. his mistress nicole houchin was sentenced to nearly 24 years. nicole )s husband - nace houchin junior received 40 years and a 4th man gregory crawford was sentenced to 17 years. 42-year-old dana mackay was found dead by a neighbor inside her teal way home back in 2013. she had suffered several stab wounds to the face. records show - nace kicked open danas bedroom door and beat her to death with a long socket wrench. police later found out that the group plotted to kill dana for 20-

right now police are searching for the driver who led them on a two city car chase - then crashed into a home. this picture shows what the car looked like after it hit the building. this was on stoney point north and john hancock lane in norfolk. it all started in chesapeake-- when an officer tried to pull the driver over for equipment failure. the man refused to stop-- taking the officer on a chase through interstate 264-- and into the stony point neighborhood. the driver crashed into the side of the home-- got out and ran. the woman who lives there said the impact of the crash shook her

but that cold front will bring us a few showers on wednesday and falling temperatures. we will start off the day in the 40s and end up in the 30s in the afternoon. that cold front will push out into the atlantic, and an area of low pressure will develop and move along it. some forecast models bring it close enough to produce some rain on friday, possibly starting with a little bit of snow. but by the afternoon we expect clearing skies and high temperatures back in the 50s. then we will enjoy a warming trend for the weekend. expect high temperatures in the low-to-mid 50s on saturday with plenty of sunshine and in the low 60s on

crunching snow is why.a thick sheet of snow and ice still covered some of the roads. this is what devonshire road in the banbury cross area looked like around noon. felton mill road was also coated with snow and ice in some spots. school officials received a number of complaints on their facebook page about the decision to cancel classes again -- with some saying it was ridiculous because roads were clear. we spoke to dr. carl james - chief operations officer for the school division over the phone he told us -- as these roads show -- conditions can be vastly different from one area to the next. he says they had crews out working to finish clearing

1-888-lock-u-up. hampton police say calls to crime line led them to a man wanted in a carjacking earlier this month. police arrested 25-year-old james drew. investigators say about two weeks ago-- drew carjacked a man on michigan drive. that man wasnt hurt. police say your calls to the crime line helped them track down the carjacker. hes now facing several charges. breaking news -- dave hansen has just been named the new city manager of virginia beach. city leaders made the announcement moments ago - after a voting session this evening. the new manager will replace james spore - who served as virginia beach city manager for 24 years. he retired last month. coming up on newschannel three at five - the governor stops into hampton roads - with good news. jobs are coming! plus - a new bill could make it easter for convicts to get a

police are investigating a stabbing at a oceanfront hotel. we )re told the stabbing happened just before three this afternoon at the edgewater hotel on atlantic avenue. the man was stabbed near his chest and was rushed to the hospital. police believe a woman who knows him - is responsible for the attack. newschannel three has a crew there now gathering more details.

we now know what caused an norfolk. officials say the fire. the man who lived at the home on westminster avenue - woke up 3:30 this morning. he quickly got out. when crews arrived they saw smoke billowing from the attic of the two story home. crews were able to put the fire out and check for any hot spots in the homes insulation. no one was hurt. officials say the home did not have working smoke alarms. 50 new jobs will be created in newport news. that was the announcement from governor terry mcauliffe today. it )s all part of an expansion an by the company print-pack. the flexible packaging company says they will invest over 25 million dollars to expand its manufacturing operations in newport news. as the governor told us today -
