happening today... some milwaukee county officials are pushing for a hike in the minimum wage. they want to see the minimum wage increased for county workers - and those working with the county. pete zervakis is live with more. the announcement is set for

milwaukee county courthouse. four county supervisors will introduce a proposal to raise the floor on milwaukee county's living wage ordinance to 15 dollars an hour. for the last two years... the living wage ordinance has used a formula to set the minimum wage for county workers... and any private employers contracted with county. this year - that comes to $11.68 per hour. the proposal supervisors will announce today would slowly raise that minimum wage to 15 dollars an hour by 2022. again - the ordinance would on apply to county workers... and employers who are contracted to do work with the county. if this proposal is adopted... the minimum wage would increase at the rate of inflation following 2022. live...pz... tmj4 tonight is your chance to sound off on mayor barrett's

coggs will host a town hall meeting with the city's budget director.coggs will also anounce the winners of the 6th district landscape awards. tonight's meeting is at 5-30 at siloah luthern school. the south milwaukee fire department is investigating an early morning garage fire that damaged part of the roof of an auto-body shop.it happened at 12th and michigan.the department tells us one woman was treated for smoke inhalation, and is okay the fire happened about eight fire on tuesday night.that fire melted the siding on a neighbor's house, ignited a tree, and started a vehicle on fire. nobody was hurt.south milwaukee police say there is no evidence the two fires are linked. happening right now...congress preparing to vote to override president barack obama's veto of the so-called 9-11 bill.the measure would allow family members of 9-11 victims to sue
