oklahoma just after 630 this morning.he jumped out of bed and ran outside.20-27 it was pretty crazy. i didn't understand what was going on until they moved out of the way and i saw a sheet sitting there.police say a 17-year old girl was in a cross walk trying to get across the street -- when she was hit by the school bus.there were 6 elementary school students on the bus. fire fighters rushed to the scene but the victim did not survive. 36-41 there are a lot of pe this road. i've seen 4 to 5 accients on this road so far. witnesses say the driver of the school bus tried to help the girl. the ceo of la-mers bus company -- which operates the school bus says -- the 62 year old bus driver has been with the company for 25 years and has a spotless record.ann sterling todays tmj 4 the bus company says the bus driver will not drive for the company until the police investigaton is complete.

student as a possible hate crime:. hussain saeed al-nahdi, a foreign exchange student from saudi arabia, was attacked early sunday morning near the stout campus. he died on monday. (("i think at this time you have to keep an open mind and keep that door open that it might be a possibilty. but at this time we do not know the mottivation for this crime. so it could be, but it might not be as well."))investigators are gathering surveillance video hopes it will provide some answers in the case. a 15-thousand dollar reward, from private donations and the university's foundation, is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction. many school districts in rusk county are wearing blue today. it's in honor of sheriff's deputy dan glaze, who was shot and killed saturday night while investigating a report of a suspicious vehicle. a man is in custody in connection with glaze's death.
