an hour say they're going to protest outside of this mcdonald's at 9th and north. this is supposed to be part of a national day of protests. according to organizers... the first demonstrations for $15 an hour wages began on this day four years ago in new york city. they point to 15 dollar an hour minimum wages now in effect in new york... california... and the cities of seattle and washington d- c... saying their protests have worked. in a news release about ?today's protests... or "mass, civil disobedience" by working americans who want higher wages and the right to unionize. there's also a protest planned for 1:00 pm at city hall. happening right now:hundreds of workers at chicago o hare are preparing to walk off the job today. we told you about this last week: workers voted-- to hold

peak travel times during the thanksgiving holiday ---- but now today's the day-- they'll walk the picket line. these are mainly contract workers and they are demanding higher pay and union rights. about 500 workers committed to a strike. they include baggage ndlers --- cabin cleaners, janitors and wheelchair attendants. since many of these jobs are ?contract positons -- the chicago department of aviation says... it doesn't expect service to be disrupted during the strike. fast food workers in chicago-- will also join the picketers at mark the 4th anniversary of the "fight for $15" protests. uber drivers are protesting today as well.. calling for a 15 dollar -- an hour -- minimum wage. uber has said drivers in its top 20 u-s markets... make an average of 19 dollars an hour... or more. but that doesn't include expenses such as gas --- car repairs and insurance. uber drivers are considered contractors rather than employees... so they don't get overtime pay or sick leave

deadly crash at 27th and capitol, has a message for others.the criminal complaint says samiracoleman-wilks was going more than 80 miles an hour in a 30 mile per hour zone. the complaint also reveals that the 18-year-old has never had a valid driver's license, and was fleeing from officers who pulled her over, when the crash happened. 19- year-old shawn oliver died... his best friend, mario harrell, is in a coma. 16:43:25-31 these kids need to understand there are choices that are made out here that sometimes you can't come back from. infirmary at the milwaukee county jail. she was seriously hurt in the crash. cyber monday is on its way to break spending records. yesterday alone consumers were expected to dish out nearly 3 and a half billion dollars online. and as millions of packages get delivered in the coming days, porch pirates are on the prowl. 23 million people have had packages stolen.... seems like we've got new surveilance video of one of these every day. amazon lockers offer customers a different option than doorstep
