this shooting around 1:30 this morning. neighbors heard screams followed by numerous gun shots.they called police. when police arrived they say they found a man and woman dead inside a bedroom -- police say both were shot multiple times.officers a discovered two children hiding inside the home.at this time - - we know the children are with police and are not injured.police say one is a teenager, the other is around 10 years old.all we know about the 2 victims, is they are in their mid 30's. right now police are still investigating and don't know if there is one suspect or

also breaking overnight... a 60 year old man dead after crashing a car into a house... but the impact may not be what killed him. it happened last night near 36th and thurston. when firefighters found the man... they discovered a gunshot wound in his upper back. police are still investigating what happened. happening today - the shooter involved in the death of little laylah petersen will be sentenced today. arlis gordon is looking at decades in prison for his voement in the shooting. peterson was sitting with her grandfather inside a house on milwaukee's northeast side when gordon, along with carl barrett, started shooting through the front window. according to police... the men targeted the wrong home. barrett has alread ceprison.

te5?r the atto decided ?not? to charge the officer who shot and killed jay anderson. police say a man was arrested last night, after calling the station, asking for the officer involved in the shooting. he reportedly asked if he would get shot if he brought a gun there. charges are pending. endan dassey's attorney's re their latest brief with the u-s court of appeals. they want the appeals court to stick with the lower courts ruling that overturn murder of teresa halbach.the ruling would free dassey from prison. prosecutors have two weeks to respond with their own brief. two burlington teenagers are commit homicide. both are students at karcher middle school. one of them, a 15- year-old girlthe other, her -year-old boyfriend. the girl reportedly sent the boy a list of people she wanted him to llthe list included five students at the school... ?and? the girl's father.

recount... trump's lead was by more than 22-thousand votes. green party candidate jill stein - who asked for and raised the money to pay foe rec votes. stn tee t ba cod on conces about glitches in voting machines.... even through there was no wisconsin's elections comission says the recount has turned up mostly human errors. for instance: voters in marinette county were given the pens to fill out their ballots with. stein's campaign also requested recount in the state of michigan - which trump won by just under 11- thousand votes. but the federal judge who ordered the state to start recounting ballots has dropped his decision. he did so yesterday night... after the michigan appeals court ruled stein isn't elligible to seek a recount. up next on live at dayb today's tmj4--biden in 20- the vice president's responds

milwaukee sheriff's department warning residents thisorning about a scammer impersoning a s phone.the scammer will you call you... claiming you missed jury duty... and ask you to pay a fine or be arrested. this is sothing the sheriff's office will never do. if you get a call like this... contact the milwaukee county communications center at 414-278-47-88 the milwaukee county medical examiner is making some big claims against sheriff david clarke.doctor brian peterson sent this email to the county executive. he details a phone conversation in which he claims to have been 'verbally pummeled' by clarke. the phone call was partly about the death of an inmate, and seperate death of an elderly man at the airport. we reached out to both peterson and clarke. both declined to comment. . sheriff clarke no longer in the running to head the department of homeland security president-elect donald trump

job. clarke is reportedly still being considered for other positions within the trump administration. the recount in wisconsin is uncovering some discrepencies at the polls. the lastest was found in greenfield where 412 ballots were found.election officials say they were not returned to milwaukee county on election night.the ballots have been counted and de the recount results. new information this moring about the deadly waus released by the city shows the building was the focus of nearly two dozen building code complaints over the past 30 years the report also shows an inspector visited the warehouse 15 days before the fire to investigate a possible "illegal interior building structure" however he was unable to get inside.the warehouse known as "the ghost ship" housed an artist collective... but was zoned exclusively for commercial use. the deadly fire happened
