the second shooting was called in around 1-30 -- this one a double homicide... on the city's northwest side.. -that's where we find lauren winfrey with the latest details. george and carole ... police found reggie brown and his friend dead inside the bedroom of this home. i spoke to reggie's mom ... who says she's heartbroken and searching for answers. "he didn't deserve to die like thathe didn't." rosie abner is referring to her 36- who was shot and killed early thursday morning. "he was my baby, he did everything for me. helped me out a lot." acoording to police, officers responded to a report of a double shooting in the area of 107th street and appleton, and despite life saving efforts brown and his friend died at the scene. "someone just went in the house and shot him and the young lady multiple times while they were sleeping, multiple times." but abner says she doesn't know why.
