good morning, it's i'm allison kropff. and i'm ian reitz. the dash towards florida's prized 99 delegates heats up tonight when marco rubio will be in tampa seeking for your vote. 10news reporter sarah hollenbeck is live at the tampa convention center where rubio will meet with supporters later today. sarah, we know hispanic voters could be key in this election but will they make a difference for rubio in the florida primary? ian, this could be the first time americans have a latino in the white house, but both rubio and cruz may not have the

voters they need to win. rubio's parents are from cuba ted cruz's father was born in cuba we know they are both fighting to get the growing hispanic vote but in several key swing states including florida most latinos are not cuban and most lean democratic. most also oppose both rubio's and cruz's positions on immigration reform. all of that could dash the gop's hopes that cruz or rubio could do what few republicans have ever been able to do in a presidential election: attract significant hispanic support. coming up-- rubio and john kasich are up against the clock. as the 3rd and 4th place candidates, time is running out for them to woo voters, i'll explain their biggest obstacle at 6. live in tampa, sarah hollenbeck, 10news wtsp voters in michigan head to the polls tomorrow for their primary. sunday night -- the democratic candidates took center stage for the seventh debate in detroit. hillary clinton and bernie sanders addressed major concerns for the people in that state including the 2009 auto industry bailout. the candidates

and this will be one more thing to help jeff vinik with is mission to transform the waterfront - usf did a study about the economic impact moving the college will have on downtown tampa...and we're talking millions of dollars from the construction, to all the faculty and students moving in...even the research done inside the walls of the school will play a part in bringing money into the area - the economic aspect is obviously very important and a key reason why the new school will be built here in channelside... - but usf officials say the school desperately needs to upgrade its facilities and equipment to adapt to more contemporary medical training, which of course just makes all of us healthier in the long run. - but all of this development poses another serious question...especially with all the talk about student loan debt... - will building this new school make tuition go up? - i'm reading through this report from usf about the project... - i'll have an answer for you at 6. - live at channelside, emerald morrow, 10news, wtsp.

of the most influential first ladies in u.s. history, has died. she became a champion for people battling alzheimer's after president reagan died from it in 2004. she had many critics during her days as first lady, but her admirers credited her with restoring grace and elegance to the white house. funeral arrangements are still being planned. many in the political world pausing to remember the former first lady. nancy reagan was married to former president ronald reagan for 52 years. one of her most famous initiatives as first lady was the 1980's anti-drug campaign, "just say no." all the presidential candidates expressed their condolences, but none had an experience like marco rubio who stopped her from falling as he was about to give a speech at the reagan library.

94 years old. she will be buried next to her husband at the reagan presidential library in california. former president jimmy carter says he no longer needs cancer treatment. carter's spokeswoman says the 91-year-old will still undergo scans from time to time to make sure the cancer does not return. she pointed out carter will continue treatment if it is necessary. this comes after he announced in december that a scan found no sign of cancer on his brain. crews will no longer search for a man who fell overboard from a cruise ship 40 miles off the florida coast. 46 year old david mossman fell about 100 feet off of royal caribbean's "navigator of the seas" late friday night. the coast guard says all resources to find him were exhausted through the weekend. parents, this is a story that may scare you this morning. an investigation is underway right now after a four year old falls from a ferris wheel during a fair in mississippi. greenville police say the boy is in critical condition. he was flown from the scene to a
