getting to the surface. a lot of 80s out there. this is starting to thin from west to east. this afternoon we are going to pick up a little bit more in terms of the ramping up those temperatures a bit, but still pretty comfortable. a lot of sunshine as we look out over downtown tampa right now. we are looking great out there. feels good, too. 81 tampa, 77 st. pete, 76 in new port richey, heading for 86 in tampa, and it close to that. there may be a little bit of a heat index to contend with. not so much like it's going to feel like 90 degrees. nothing like that. a little bit more sunshine for the second half of the day as well. there will be an isolated chance for a stray sprinkle, but it's not going to impact the bucs-falcons game. that kicks off 8:25 at ray jay. we are looking good. it will be warm. not hot. kickoff temperatures around 78 degrees. warm and dry. and just that 10% chance of rain. it's really gonna impact as you

by the time you are seated in the stands, we won't see that. remember 10% of a sprinkle is not all that much. where the rain chances we are going to see most likely come into play is as the front comes through. even then we are looking for a coverage of about 20%. here is the set-up. we have got our jet stream that's finally going to dive far enough to the south to push this front through. that happens tomorrow night into very early saturday morning. from there we continue to see a direction to these winds. that's gonna continue to pump in the cool, dry air which means we are in good shape through the weekend into next week. we have the st. pete food and wine festival going on in downtown st. pete the next couple of days. today is gonna be your warm day. starting tomorrow we are gradually gonna cool things off. by the weekend gorgeous out there. highs near 80 degrees. a little bit breezy. absolutely zero other issues. sunday morning looking really great. temperatures in the low 60s

nature coast. it's just gonna have that fall feel returning to the forecast. it's not gonna be quite as strong as the last one, but the cooler air is gonna stick around for a little bit. here is friday evening. this has delayed a little bit, but notice our rain cans are minimal and -- rain chances are minimal. the chance to see that friday evening to very, very early saturday morning and then we get to enjoy some nice sunshine. it's gonna hang around for the second half of the weekend as and early next there. those temperatures, they are -- they are going to stay around that 81-degree mark. i give you an extra hour of sleep. a reminder that daylight saving time starts saturday night into sunday morning. >> set the clocks back an hour before you go to bed. >> all thanks to you. >> i try. along with the cubs winning the world series you could say that bill murray is winning
