properties to avoid conflicts of interest. so, his sons now handle the business dealings but trump still technically owns the company and the attorneys general of d.c. and the maryland say the president is still benefiting personally. the u.s. constitution says u.s. officials can't take gifts or other benefits from foreign governments. now, speaking in detail to the washington post the attorneys general say embassies and foreign officials have chosen to use the trump hotel taking business away from other properties in d.c. and the maryland. another clause in the constitution says the president can't get financial benefits other than a set salary from the federal or state governments. now, that calls into question the d.c. trump hotel's lease with the gsa as well as his golf courses hotels and resorts if they get government bookings, state tax breaks or favorable zoning. if the lawsuit goes forward the attorneys general say they'll also be demanding copies of trump's tax returns and they tell the post that they believe that could land the case in front of the supreme court. we will learn

and friday. heat does break by midweek as we get better storm chances in here, a little bit more cloud cover towards the end of the week will bring those temperatures much closer to the seasonal normal. temperatures outside mild to start. manassas at 64, 66 degrees, baltimore is at 70, 74 for annapolis so again very mild start to the day here. no jacket weather needed outside and again later on this afternoon light clothing shorts and t-shirt weather. radar is quiet. dewpoints are up. 67 is the current dewpoint here in washington. that's very humid air in place. it will come down a little bit this afternoon but still generally speaking we're talking mid 60's for dewpoints. what does that mean? that just means it's going to be a humid sticky feel. 65-degree dewpoints rather uncomfortable. that's going to be later on today. we head into tomorrow and the wednesday, it's much closer to 70 and that's that real heavy sticky feel that you usually get like august, september around here. so, again, it's all thanks to high pressure settled off the coastline pulling up the heat and humidity from t

heat comes up, some gulf moisture comes up as well and that's going to help it to feel again like mid summer around here. 90's in the forecast later today with heat index values in a few spots near a hundred degrees. taking in the nats game later today t-it will be a hot one. 88 degrees, mostly sunny. extra water at the game. it will be a hot and humid one for the nats later on this afternoon. i believe it's the atlanta braves in town and they're used to this kind of weather down in atlanta. 95 degrees today. 95 tomorrow as well with a few pop-up thunderstorms in the afternoon but most stay dry on tuesday. it's really wednesday, wednesda, thursday, friday where our storm chances kick up. 90's turn into 80's by the time we get to thursday. that's a check of the forecast. erin is back with traffic. >> 5:48. we have problems on the roads and the rails. because of construction taking out the left lane 295 northbound by malcolm x avenue we have a solid delay from the beltway to just north of malcolm x avenue. just want to remind everyone avoid 295 northbound. seeing some traffic bail out at this illegal u-turn area and turn around. that's really dangerous a
