police are investigagating a homicide this morning.. that took place at a tampa gas station. officers say they found a mans body at the sunoco gas station.. around 7 last night on north nebraska avenue. they rushed him to a local hospital.. where he later died.. the cause of death still isn't know.. and a suspect hasn't been identified.. in polk county.. a family fight with deadly consequences. deputies... were called to break things up... and that's when things took an even more frightening turn. fox 13's shayla reaves is live in lakeland with a at how this all unfolded..

--------------- another night of unrest across the nation as protesters take to the streets angry over the results of the presidential election. police manning barricades outside trump tower in new york city to keep anti-trump demonstrators at bay. dozens gathered there for the second night chanting slogans like "not my president" and "pay your taxes" among many others similar scenes playing out in cities across the nation... aerials from minneapolis show police barricading a highway as protesters continue filing by... hundreds taking to the streets in denver, colorado... in california, students took part in walk-outs across the state, from los angeles to san francisco.gibson says "i just don't think that donald trump is fit to run our country because of all of the terrible things he said to people and all the terrible things he accuses people of doing. i just don't support that as the leader of our country." elected officials hopeful that president elect donald trump will be able to heal the rift this vicious presidential campaign has caused across the nation.garcetti says " the things that were said that were not partisan about women, about our muslim brothers and sisters, about immigrants. this campaign started remember with singling about mexicans and mexican-americans. those have a very long term and traumatic effect on people, and i hope that presen been said and to be an example."(on cam tag) donald trump took to twitter actually upset about these protests and blaming the media for inciting the demonstrations. in new

back at home.. 150-thousand dollars worth of cell phones and electronics are missing this morning.. and hillsborough county deputies need your help nd deputies say the thieves forced their way into the t-mobile store on east brandon boulevard.. by breaking through a rear concrete wall. this happened yesterday. once inside, they stole the cell phones and electronics from the store's storage cage.. deputies say they also broke into a safe.. and took an undisclosed amount of cash. if you know anything -- you're asked to call the sheriff's office.. a 33-year old mixed martial arts instructor is in the hillsborough county jail this morning.. after deputies say he sexually abused a 12

"nelson ivan del valle-nazario" was arrested thursday at his gym on waters avenue. deputies say they recorded him on the phone.. admitting to having sexual relations with the young girl between march of 20-15... and september of this year.. he has been charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior.. and is being held on 30-thousand dollars bond. orange county deputies have releasd body cam footage... of the deadly pulse nightclub shooting in june... the video was released on arguments from the city's attorneys -- and testimony from victims' family members. the shooter... omar mateen... killed 49 people and wounded dozens... when he opened fire on the gay nightclub on june 12th. there are new questions this morning.. about the potential role sexual transmission may play.. in the spread of zika -- from men to women... a new c-d-c study shows... adult women in puerto rico are ?significantly more

america runs on dunkin'. attorneys for donald trump.. have agreed to enter settlement talks.. in a class- action fraud lawsuit.. the suit involves the president-elect and his now- defunct trump university. the class action suit was supposed to go to trial on the 28-th. the suit is 6-and- a-half years old... and the settlement might end it before trump takes office in january. the lawsuit says trump-u.. failed on a promise to teach success in real estate. the case gained national attention.. after trump said the judge presiding over the case is biased against him.. because of his mexican heritage. in chicago -- new video has surfaced.. that appears to show several teenagers attacking a man -- because he voted for donald trump. the video was posted to the website of our sister station in chicago. it shows a man being punched, kicked, and robbed at a busy intersection. another video allegedly shows those same attackers stealing the victim's car and driving away. chicago

after two of his top aides were convicted in the "bridge-gate" scandal.. top democrats in new jersey are urging lawmakers to consider impeachment proceedings against governor chris christie.. in a statement.. the state's senate majority leader says christie knew about the conspiracy to close lanes on the george washington bridge.. as a form of retaliation against a democratic mayor who wouldn't endorse him... christie -- who is currently heading up donald trump's white house transition team.. ha knowledge of the lane closures. former u-s congressman "aaron schock" is facing a 24-count federal indictment.. for defrauding the government and his campaign committees. the former illinois lawmaker has been under investigation for a spending scandal... that included the remodeling of his capitol hill office in the style of the television series "downton abbey." schock resigned last year... and says any wrong-doing was the result of what he calls "honest mistakes." animal rescue crews

toronto.. the airports biggest airline is still allegiant.. they just started a new non-stop service to trenton, new jersey.. and are starting a seasonal non-stop service to portsmouth, new hampshire next thursday.. 100 years after the first airports started popping up around the u-s... we now have the nation's first air and space port. after four years and close to a million dollars... an airport in midland, texas has been converted to handle space traffic. the sierra nevada corporation's "dream chaser" can land. the city decided it didn't want to rely on the oil industry... especially after suffering from the recent oil bust. although midland's space industry is relatively new... support businesses are already moving in. the city is also building a huge new business park that it hopes// will one day be full of space-related companies. new documents show that yahoo waited 18 months... to launch an investigation.. into a massive data breach

it is 5:??: time now to find out what's happening on the roads - with our "skyfox on time traffic". no closed captioning is available for traffic. being the victim of bullying is tough for kids. they often feel helpless and unloved. this week's hometown hero knows what it's like to be picked on... and now he's using his experience to teach kids how to speak up and stand up for themselves. 16 year old levi fallavolita has a simple message victims of bullying...be courageous. (sot)it does take a lot of courage to talk about bullying. levi knows all too well what it's like to get picked ona he spent most of his 5th grade year hiding from bullies. (sot) they were saying unpleasant stuff and they were just kind of being mean but then it just got worse and worse and became physical too like hitting and pushing. even though he kept it to himself.. levis' mom says she knew was something wrong. (sot)i just noticed something was different levi was always silly, outgoing he

until a bully threatened levi with a gun... that he finally asked for help... and the situation got better.levi channelled his pain into something good...writing two children's books about his experience with bullies.(sot) it made me feel really great that i was helping other people going through similar situations he used his book signings as a platform for his "be courageous campaign"... speaking to kids and at schools across the country. (sot) i decided that it's important to go to those schools and talk about it before they get into middle school and high school and it becomes more severe. he's received a lot of recognition for his good work. including the diana awarda an award given out to young roles models who help transform the lives of others. and the daily point of light awarda& which honors people making meaningful change in communities across america. levi even got to meet congressmen ron barber, who was injured in the same shooting that left gabrielle giffords with severe brain damage.
