alcides.. a tampa toddler remains hospitalized this morning.. as police search for the person who shot her. investigators say "aaliyah avila" was in her robles park apartment wednesday.. with her mother and another child.

through the walls. one of the bullets hit a wall, then hit alliyah in the leg. no one else in the apartment was hurt. new this morning: a u-s congress-woman from the panhandle.. is criticizing the state's response to the massive mosaic sinkhole in mulberry. democrat "gwen graham" reviewed hundreds of emails between governor rick scott, the florida department of environmental protection and mosaic.. based on her findings.. she says no one discussed warning any neighbors... until the story came out in the me "asleep at the wheel".. moasic hopes to have the sinkhole on their mulberry property ?plugged up by this spring. meanwhile, county officials are still montoring wells around the site... and say none of them are showing signs of contamination. a researcher at moffitt cancer center is on administrative leave this morning.. after being accused of video voyeurism. tampa police say "luis froes, junior" tried to record a man in the shower at the rec center on the campus of u-s-f.

fores is a "post-doctoral fellow" there.. and was arrested earlier in the week.. in pinellas county: authorities are investigating a hate crime targeting a gay friendly church in st. petersburg. workers at the "king of peace metropolitan church".. say they found a swastika written on their sidewalk monday.. along with the acronym for donald trump's campaign slogan. a neo-nazi code was also written in chalk. the reverend believes they were targeted because the congregation is predominantly gay and lesbian. the church has since beefed up security. an air force explosives team has detonated a world war 2 era bomb.. that was found near florida state's campus in tallahassee... officials say the bomb was destroyed around 9-30 last night.. less than a mile away from the state capitol.. police haven't said how the bomb made its way there.. but the museum of florida history says tallahassee had an airfield during world war 2.. that was used for training.. the trump transition continues today with a visit from the prime minister of

over a controversial plan to ease overcrowding in the district. some of the plans would force students to change schools... miles outside their current district. a rezoning committee is meeting this moring to narrow down five plans to just one. fox 13's alcides segui is live in pasco county and will be following this contentious battle throughout good day tampa bay. time now is 5:xx.. charges have been filed against a minnesota police officer.. in the shooting death of an elementary school cafeteria worker.. prosecutors say the officer who castile in july.. had "no reason" to use deadly force. the 32 year old's girlfriend streamed his final moments on social media.. bringing national attention to his death. investigators say.. evidence showed that castile co-operated..and was reaching for his i-d.. not his licensed gun.. officer "jeronimo yanez".. shot castile 7 times. judge glenda hatchett/ castile family attorneywhat more could this young man have done than he did that day? and it and it begs, it begs, it begs for the attention of this community

humane soceity has decided to accept applications early. the 12 puppies were surrendered to the humane society of tampa bay one week ago. they're chocolate lab, pit bull terrier mixes. the puppies were supposed to be available on a first come, first serve basis on black friday. but more than a thousand people have contacted the shelter. so in order to avoid a mad dash... they've decided to start accepting adoption applications ?now. they have to be submitted by saturday at 5 p-m. little guys... keep in mind there are a lot of other animals that need homes. all animals 4-months-old or
