it is day after christmas and all through through the house -- alternative rent story there. through the malls, lot of returns this morning if you are waking up looking for those sales. malls sabrin it on. from shopping to travel, certainly a lot of people all across this country are trying to get home from grand mom's house where ever you may have been on our roads and also at the airport. so you may want to track those travel times. >> this family, this mom has a story to tell a christmas miracle in easton pennsylvania , families, stuck in two separate locations, inside of the grand canyon, after a massive snowstorm hits what officials this morning are saying that the mom did to

and torso, and he is presently in very critical condition, and he is under going surgery, it is unknown whether or not he will survive. >> investigators are now interviewing several witnesses at the hospital, so far no arrests have been made but police hope footage from nearby surveillance cameras, will help them out and eventually will lead to a shooter. and also new this morning, a nasty, three car crash, in the roosevelt boulevard, send two people to the hospital, it happened overnight just after 3:00 a.m. near adams avenue, we do not know the condition of the victims but it looks like a bad one there. you can see damage here, and we will give you updates as new information, comes in. and also, we have got some new video of a tire slashings in the northeast, people here in the the 100 block of foulke rod street woke up to ten car tires slashed on christmas morning. can you imagine that, the tires are still flattened, early this morning.
we don't know anything about any suspects at this time. police will be continuing to investigate, later today. israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu is turning up the heat and his tirade against the united states. netanyahu is vowing to retaliate because u.s. chose not to block u.n. security council resolution, the measure passed condemning israel for establishing new settlements in palestinian controlled territories. netanyahu spent christmas day meeting with diplomates including u.s. ambassador to israel. u.s. continues to insist that the new settlements only hurt peace efforts. russian rescue crews are searching for bodies after a plane crashes in the black sea russian authorities believe that all 92 people on board, died, the plane disappeared from radar yesterday morning, minutes after departing, and the passengers include dozens of singers and russia's world famous military choir. investigators have not ruled out any causes of the crash including terrorism, and say it could take days or weeks

are blocked, there thomas and karen. >> sue, thank you 567:89:18. apparently philadelphia mayor jim kenney is, welshing getting hit with a fine with missing key filing deadlines. mayor's campaign committee has had to cough up $2,000 to the cities ethics board. campaign failed to file reports in march and april of this year detailing just how much was spent on kenney's inauguration, in his transition to city hall. campaign was required to report how much money it the donated to other can states. campaign filed all of those reports back in august. so, we're coming up on the new year but there is also a age old controversy, simmering and that is, some stuff to do with the mummers. where should they have their parade. they have seek wins out and struts ready so is it in center city or back in south philadelphia where a lot of folks think it belongs. supporters of that move have started an own line position that has gathered more than 600 signatures. plus, budget cuts have obviously impact the parade in
recent years, it is a short are route and change in the venue for fancy brigades now performed at the convention center. very important information for children adopted and basically people who gave their children up for adoption. officials in new jersey are saying that adult children who were adopted could soon have access to their originate birth certificates. birth parents as many as 300 who gave birth, to 300,000 children, that were given up for adoption in new jersey have until this saturday, to decide, if they would like their names removed from the birth certificate, to protect their privacy. if not, those adult adoptees could get it. those parents choose not to release their names can reverse their decision at the anytime. big move on the way here, a siberian tiger currently living in the brandywine zoo in delaware is preparing to move to the bronx zoo. the tiger, who is eight years oldies one of 500 siberian tigers in the world. so next month she will be moved to the bronx zoo, and

yesterday, we are remembering the pop superstar george michael who passed away christmas take just 53 years old. don't know all of the details just yet but his family said he passed away peacefully at home. >> according to his manager he died have of heart failure, interestingly he was working in recent years due to release a documentary and a new album from next year. >> ♪ >> so, he started with wham in 1986 and wanted a solo career. never looked back. he was a superstar known for being fabulous in terms of his hair and looks, and, just a great guy. sold more than 100 million albums with a career that span four decade. >> he had a few bumps in the road, if you will during his personal life, 1998 he

footage from near pie surveillance will lead them to the shooter. 5:36 is the time. developing right now christmas miracle for family from our area, easton pennsylvania, rescued after the car got stuck, on a snowy road as they were at the grand canyon. the deputies say that karen kline was trapped with her husband and her ten year-old son with the storm rolling in. she goes out to look for help. her husband and son go to higher ground on get a better cell phone signal. they were able to get help but nobody could find that hissing mom but finally they did she walk for a full marathon length, 26 miles, before she was found. right now she's in the hospital being treated for exposure to the cold. forget about black friday today is expect to be a very busy day for retailers as people rushed to get after christmas deals and, of course , make those returns. >> like so many malls and other stores they will be opening up early this morning to get ready for some of the big crowd. >> lets get out to steve keeley in cherry hill this morning, he will be i guess
