Brilliant and surreal.
Winsor McCay was a pioneering cartoonist and animator. He had a long-running comic strip called Dreams of the Rarebit Fiend, and this is one of several short films that were made about the bizarre dreams someone has after eating rarebit.
Welsh rarebit is a dish made with melted cheese, toast, and various other ingredients.
This is very strange and funny. I love the "dialogue" and the handwriting in which the dialogue is presented.
