Subject: An oldie but a goodie!

It seems to work great on my Core i5 4GB RAM PC using Firefox. If you want to utilize the cheats, just end the game, it will drop you to a command prompt, then enter wolf3d -goobers, then press left-shift+alt+backspace. After that, all the cheat codes will work.

It's powerfull to let people explore old video games ! Thinks out of the box ! Is it possible to dowload a player so can use this games by shell, terminator ?

Subject: Jeez...What happened?

I played Wolfenstein for a long time now. I am a big fan and now that I see that they brought it back with all the chapters unlocked, I was really happy. But since the files were updated, they removed them and only allowed the first chapter. Really? Was that necessary? The earlier version was fine!

The way The Internet Archive was selecting which archive to open changed. Thanks for the review mentioning you had to run a installer to get it working.

I've now updated the files and commands so it properly runs the game immediately again.

Subject: Had to extract first.

When I went to run it it would not play, said wolf3d was not a valid command. I looked at the dir and found an install file once running it, it extracted and the command wolf3d did work.

Subject: Works on Windows 8.1

The secret ingredient is DosBox. Once you have that, you should be able to play almost any old DOS game.
