I have to go on a tangent to express how I feel about Bo to fully explain why I feel this way about the show. Whoever is reading this must be a stan like me, who else would bother, right?

I fell down the Bo Burnham rabbit hole recently. I discovered him 4 years ago, I was amazed by his art and the way he delivers it. I don't remember how it happened, but I feel like I must have stumbled upon him by accident after watching some shock comedy or something.

I've watched his videos and the 3 specials in the span of a month and for another month or two I've been sharing them with my friends and work colleagues, as well as watching reaction videos to him. I've seen the "Eight Grade" and I guess I moved on after some time, though the memory of it is as blurry as the one of me discovering him.

2 months ago I found out he released "Inside", I don't know how it took me almost a year, I guess the youtube algorithm was on a break or something, I don't know.

Anyway, this is where the descent into the rabbit hole started, because I decided to rewatch the previous specials before watching Inside. Shortly after I listened to his new songs I don't know how many times, because I was getting goosebumps every single time.

The amount of reaction videos I've watched in the span of the last week is embarrassing, worrisome, distressing, upsetting, disturbing, borderline psychotic and completely unhealthy.

I am obsessed and I want to see others feel what I felt when I first saw him. I realize that he would hate and condemn this type of behavior, but I can't help myself. For some reason I feel like he's the messiah and I'm a radical apostle who wants to spread his message. I have a hard time believing he's only a human, he's so much more.

I find it ironic how he's trying to heal the world with comedy and here I am binge watching different reaction videos for 3 days straight, only getting up when having bathroom or coffee breaks, by coffee breaks I mean making coffee and then sitting back down and chainsmoking while watching reactions, without sleep, this is after the lockdown's been lifted mind you.

So anyway, realizing how unhealthy I was getting only after making myself cry for 20 mins straight for no apparent reason (at the time), now I realize I subconsciously made myself break down to alert my conscious brain that it's dangerously overloaded and that I need to take a break, you can only watch so much of the same thing before it all spills out.

I still have earworms stuck in my head, I like them though, because it's good music. I am better now, because letting all that out made feel so much lighter and good about myself. So I decided to watch this show.







So now that you know how big of a stan I am, here's the review:

The pilot is filled with cringe humor, I mean the whole show is, but for some reason that first episode hit me kinda differently. It threw me off because I avoid that type of shows, The Office for example, I'm not saying it's bad, it's just not for me. If I wasn't a Bo stan I would've probably stopped watching halfway through it and never come back.

Maybe it felt that way because I expected something very different since it was Bo and because it was Bo I gave it a benefit of a doubt and continued watching.

I am glad I did, because by the end of the pilot I could sympathize with Zach when he tried to do a selfless act, albeit very brief one and that made me watch the rest of the show, which isn't as bad, it's actually good.

I started liking the characters and relating to Zach, not because I want to be famous, but because he keeps trying to do what he wants and fails and he's a virgin.

In the ending episode he finally realized, after throwing it all away, that he doesn't need fame to be happy, he got Amy and just as he makes peace with it, here come the flashes and autographs and descent into his selfishness.

Seeing Amy's smile slowly fade as she realizes that the selfless guy she likes is getting ripped away from her just as she finally got him is heartbreaking. That's why I regret watching it.

I know that the show was cancelled but the ending really does tie it all together, albeit in a very sad way.

This show finds the perfect balance of being funny and serious. As well as having a great cast. 10/10!

No seriously, I had no idea this even existed! I don’t think the show belonged on MTV, it was just not the right place for it. It would honestly do amazing today. It holds up incredibly well and was ahead of its time.

Seriously was surprised by how amazing this show was! As the title states it has the feel of the office but with added comedy that is not so dry. Freaking love this show and wish we had more!

absolutely perfect

i couldnt ask for much more than more bo burnham content. and thats just what this offers. having been introduced to bo in 7th grade, watching this in my highschool years is not only entertaining but quite interesting because at times i feel as if im getting a glimpse at what my own future could be of
its great having such a chaotic yet comdeic character crafted like zach stone, its given me a character to highly relate to on many different levels whether it relates to my relationship with family, or my exotic efforts to grasp at attention.

a lot of the previous comments mention lag, but that doesnt seem to be much of a problem (anymore?)
if youre experiencing lag and youre streaming it straight from the site (not downloaded) there might just be other people streaming it/downloading it/making use of the site at the same time.
just try to be patient and see if maybe this specific source was mentioned on reddit again lol.

i watched this about a month ago but when i watched it, it was great! this is one of my favorite shows. i recommend this show to everyone who like bo burnham or comedy. Though anyone can watch it ofc! the intros to the episodes are amazing. my personal favorite intro is probably zach stone is gonna be scary. i honestly cant choose though because all of them are so good.

This show is hilarious, weird, and heart-warming in a way that other shows wish they could be. It’s a shame that it only lasted one season, but that’s absolutely a problem of the audience, not the show. This was always better than MTV, and I’m sure the audience for that network was uncomfortable with the reality that this show spoke about. Anyway, definitely watch it, it’s wonderful.

(I streamed this instead of downloaded, so I didn’t have any of the problems that others mentioned)

i watched this years ago as an avid bo fan and decided to rewatch it again, and it's held up surprisingly well.

it's a nuanced take on society's obsession with fame and being watched, and what that can do to a terribly insecure kid.

it's hilarious and thoughtful, and i'm disappointed we didn't get more.

Needs to be on Netflix

If they did reruns of this it would do SO WELL

I didn't think there was anything else of Bo left to find and yet here we are. This is awesome. The comedy is awkward and great very reminiscent of Napolean Dynamite.

first off absolutely criminal that this only had one show :/ i never even heard about it despite being a bo burnham fan since 2016 lol but anyway this is so iconic and while i hate its lack of attention, it makes this feel like a hidden gem lol. anyway if y’all are having loading issues, refresh the website and if you’re on mobile, let it load for a second without wifi if you’re on it and then switch it back on. it at least works if it’s displaying “error 224003” or if the loading sign freezes/is taking forever. anyway a+ show worth the lagging xoxoxox

I haven't experienced downloading issues like anyone else yet, but it's taken me over 20 minutes to get through 7 minutes of the show due to the lag.

I’ve seen a lot of other people say this but if you stop watching and come back to it, the videos will not play. If your going to watch this, watch the whole thing at once.

i ended up having to make 3 accounts to download it all for some reason after you start downloading stuff it starts to list it as not available but if you create a new account it becomes available again. Bit of a pain of a work around but worth it to get this whole series!

With much efforts, I found these episodes and started to watch. Thanks for uploading in the first place. I was halfway through the season when these made unavailable to download. Please don't do this. Let me watch remaining episodes and I'm sure other Bo Burnham fans would also like to watch.
