This Tex Avery cartoon was banned after world war II and it is a part of our history. Please remember which part of history which gave rise to this film. I have more material that was considered in bad taste. I've seen this cartoon on Mr. Cartoon. It took me years to find a copy.

"Sudden Fried Chicken" stars Herman (a mouse) and Henry (a rooster). Herman notices a poster that will award $1,000 to anyone who will stay in the ring for one round against a champion boxing rooster. He goes to Henry, who is feeling really low about himself, as he is getting bossed and pushed around by his wife. One thing leads to another, and the scrawny Henry is going up against the Champ!-From IMDB

Clutch Cargo, who debuted on March 9, 1959, and is remembered for exploring depth of meaning in the phrase "limited animation". Even in an era of low production values, he stood out from the crowd. The animation, if you're generous enough to call it that, was so limited, that for many, the amazing spectacle of it seems to have blotted out every other aspect of the show. Tom Terrific was an early animated series on American television, presented as part of the Captain Kangaroo children's television show. Created by Gene Deitch under the Terrytoons studio (which was a subsidiary of CBS), Tom Terrific ran in a series of five-minute cartoons created specifically for the Captain Kangaroo show from 1957-1959, and was rerun on Kangaroo for years thereafter. Drawn in a simple, even clumsy, style, it featured a gee-whiz boy hero, Tom Terrific, who lived in a treehouse...

Spunky was a small boy and Tadpole was his oddly named teddy bear. The pair traveled along having adventures that were typical of early cartoons. Luckily for Spunky, Tadpole was able to talk and help out whenever things got a little rough. Like many early cartoons, the animation on Spunky and Tadpole was fairly basic. Characters mainly stood perfectly still and spoke their lines to one another, rarely moving. Simple animation aside, the main attraction of the cartoon was the early talents of...

In this 1939 cartoon, Betty Boop runs a hospital for sick automobiles. The video size is kind of small at 352 x 256, but very clear, and this copy was taken from a good print. The sound is very good, too.

Made as an exercise in my animation class at Swinburne University in 1990, TATLIN is a rumination on the life & work of Vladimir Tatlin. The poem you hear is read by John Flaus, and was written by Velimir Klebnikov, whose description of Tatlin as 'one of the order of sun-catchers' was apt indeed. The models and puppet of Tatlin were built on a tabletop and filmed with a Bolex camera over a period of several weeks.
