"This machinima was made in May 2005 and is my tribute to the excellent "Cantina Crawls" series which can be found on machinima.com and furplay.com. It was also an opportunity to see what my music looks like with funky aliens! Half-Life 2's FacePoser has clearly opened up some interesting possibilities for machinima, ranging from facial expression to lip synching. Here, Dxvid puts these capabilities to the text in a music video of "Nothing Compares to You" performed by Sinead O'Connor/Mossman. "This is the song 'Nothing Compares to You' performed by Mossman from Half-Life 2. "This machinima movie was made in February 2006 and features the song "Nothing Compares to You". It was filmed...

"This machinima, made in Feb.2005, was really first experiments with the new Half-Life2 sdk, but it also became a kind of sequel to my Half-Life machinima "Coked". Don't know if there will be any more of these...but I still find exploding professors amusing for some reason?! "This machinima, made in March 2005, was inspired by the very funny and surreal "Dry Bones" hospital scene in the Dennis Potter play "The Singing Detective". It was also an opportunity for me to get to grips with the new FacePoser editor (an excellent tool for machinima) supplied with the Half-Life 2 sdk. (If you would like to see my other machinimas please go to - http://homepage.ntlworld.com/a.jones44/htm/Movies.)" -- David Jones (Dxvid)
