I was so happy to find this! I have used Itten's system for decades as an artist. Boston, you are awesome!!! I really never thought I would see this book again since I travelled to Indianapolis to use their library copy thirty years ago. Thank you! This is one of my all time favorite books, but is far too expensive for me to be able to buy as a used copy on amazon or ebay. Thank you so much for making so many wonderful books and items available to those of us who work as artists, or in other fields, but are not affiliated with universities. So many of us have been "locked out" as "ordinary citizens" by an unreasonable pay wall when we try to read scholarly books and periodicals. Your library has resurrected the spirit of the education as envisioned by our founders where anyone could, if they desire, read books and become educated. I LOVE you!

It's really pretty wonderful to have free access to a book that costs, on average, 200-300 dollars USED.

Also just a great introduction to color theory. Easy to digest and thought provoking. As an un-schooler during the pandemic the internet archive is a god send, absolute gold mine.

If you enjoyed this book I would also recommend Johannes Itten's 'Design and Form'.
