In The Measurement of All Things: Atmospheric Detectives, students are introduced to the study of atmospheric science and the measurement of aerosols. They investigate science, mathematics and remote sensing techniques to show how the Sun’s radiation and elements and compounds in the atmosphere react to each other. They also investigate how human activity affects these resulting gases and particles or aerosols in the atmosphere. While visiting the corresponding web page for this program, students will use the computer, like NASA scientists, to investigate remote sensing.
