This is the first edition of the famous "Elizabethan Bible" published during the reign of Empress Elisabeth Petrovna (1709-1761) and represents the so-called "corrected text" of the first edition of the Bible issued in Slavonic characters by Ivan Fedorov in Ostrog, (Volhynia) in the year 1581.
