The special collection now known as Memorial Library began in 1889 with the incorporation of the Boston Architectural Club. It contains approximately 1,600 titles including books purchased by both the school and individual members and reflects the Beaux Arts and Grand Tour traditions. The chapterletter (1971-2013) was created by the Boston Society of Architects (BSA), a chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). The BAC Library's collection consists of issues from 1972-2010. It was published bimonthly (there are exceptions dependent upon the year of publication).
