Description: A twenty-five minute home movie featuring the Ouye family in Sacramento, California. The film consists of footage from several different occasions. Opening scenes show the Ouye family packing for their trip and street scenes of Sacramento, Fresno, and Hanford, California. One of their first stops is the site of the Mussel Slough Tragedy in Hanford. The movie also features the El Don Motel in Bakersfield, California. Notable scenes in this portion of the film include the family enjoying a day at the beach in Long Beach, California. Clips of oil wells on the beach, boardwalks, and roller coasters are also included. Another segment of the film features Southern California highways, most likely Highway 99 along the Grapevine area. The final segment shows a family trip to Disneyland. Footage includes clips of Main Street U.S.A, Frontier Land, Fantasy Land, Tomorrow Land, and Cinderella's Castle. The Ouye children are also seen enjoying notable rides such as the Mad Tea Party's Tea Cups, Casey Jr.'s Train Ride, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and the Jungle Cruise.
