After almost 3 years and 75 interviews Cape Ann ARTWaves presents the last conversation in our series. Meet the immense talent behind the Manship Artists Residency (MARS). Art historian Rebecca Reynolds is co-founder of the cultural treasure with a global reach located in Gloucester, MA founded in 2015 to save this historic, environmentally significant property as an international, interdisciplinary artists residency with a specific mission to continue the legacy as one for artists and art making.

Specializing in American sculpture Rebecca brings extensive education and experience working with prestigious museums as well as unconventional settings. Rebecca’s relationships with iconic artists such as Walker Hancock, the Paul Manship family, and Betty Lou Schlemm among others coupled with her expertise has enabled her to introduce signature programming that connects contemporary artists with the history of place, creating thoughtful cultural experiences for all who are fortunate to participate.
