Not greatly impressed - but that's just me
I had expected that sense data transduction would turn out to be little packets of energy transferred along the neuron's outer membrane from one molecule t the next as virtual photons pouring into the cell by a confluence of tributary streams of each of the dendrites flowing along the axon and into a delta of terminal branches. River flow might be an analogy but not the mathematics nor the physics. I guess this flow would be along some transmitter's chemical potential and then dopamine chemical potential rush at the synapse to go from the low of the delta to the height of the next cell's mountain streams. It might be a way of thinking about the connectome with the directional voxels of the brain MRI scans. It might just be some way into the 'processing' that seems such an obvious part of brain function.
