Christian Courier Digital Collection

The history of the Christian Courier newspaper goes back to the 1940s when two Canadian newspapers, one called Canadian Calvinist and the other called Contact, merged to form Calvinist Contact, a newspaper serving Dutch Reformed immigrants. The newspaper slowly transitioned from Dutch to English, a transition that was complete by 1989. In 1992, the name changed to Christian Courier, the name under which it continues to serve Reformed Christians in Canada.
