On February 9, 2013 Largo Central Park hosted the annual Touch-a-Truck and Florida Clown Day. This yearly favorite brought out thousands to honk horns, blare sirens and climb aboard all sorts of vehicles including fire engines, garbage trucks, police vehicles and the Bayflight helicopter. This year also included the popular demonstration of the Menzi Muck excavator. Thanks to all those came out and who provided vehicles to make the day possible!

So, why is it on the ballot? Question on Lease Terms for the Commercial/Retail Space included in the project. The City Charter currently limits the city's ability to grant lease terms greater than five years in all city-owned properties. The K-9 crew has put together an action-packed demonstration that showcases a K-9 conducting a building search, the agility obstacle course, and a long-range track where K-9 Chase picks up the scent of Officer Patrick Newbill and tracks him across the street into the wooded area by Highland Recreation Complex.
