Nauseating FICTION
Oh please! Not another fictional white captive woman who falls madly in love with her Comanche Captor. You name it: Comanche Moon: Comanche Heart: Comanche Heart Rising...blah blah blah.
19th Century Comanches were exceptionally known as thieves, rapists, slave drivers and murderers. Apaches, who were enemies of the Comanches, feared them, as many other non-Apache and Mexican and Anglo and Spanish and every other 2-legged and 4-legged creature did. And with extremely great reason! Comanches were excellent horse riders, but so was their love of roasted horse flesh.
Read NON-FICTION literature from Gregory Michno regarding 19th Century Comanches....No love stories here but Perhaps one: Cynthia Ann Parker, captive white mother of Quanah Parker.
