The Bond Referendum scheduled for Saturday, May 1, 2021 totals $363,965,000 in new authority and contains six propositions for various renovation and maintenance needs for existing streets, parks and city facilities. The projects included in the 2021 Bond Referendum were determined by the City Council in regular sessions after receipt of input by City staff, various Boards and Commissions including an eight-member Bond Referendum Citizen Advisory Committee and after receiving input from Plano residents at public meetings this winter. The projects included in the 2021 Bond Referendum are based on the City’s anticipated needs for the next four-year period and have a life span greater than 20 years.
