Media are invited to join Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego to celebrate the opening of the final stage of the PHX Sky Train® on Monday, December 19 at 10 a.m.

This is an exclusive opportunity to see the 24th Street Station before it opens to the public as well as join Mayor Gallego, members of the Phoenix City Council and other leaders on the first ride of the PHX Sky Train® to the Rental Car Center.

Stage 2, the final stage of the PHX Sky Train®, connects the airport terminals with the Rental Car Center. Travelers will find an enhanced and efficient experience as they connect between the facilities. In addition, the new 24th Street PHX Sky Train® Station is opening which will provide 1,600 additional economy parking spaces for travelers. The station is conveniently located for those driving into the airport from Downtown Phoenix or the West Valley.
