Description: Interview with Larry Pickard, Director of the Valley of the Moon Children's Home located on the Los Guillicos grounds. Valley of the Moon Children's Home (VOMCH) is a shelter in Sonoma County, California, where foster youth wait for a foster home or foster care placement.
Additional Description: This video recording is part of a large series of television programs entitled "Sonoma County in the [70s, etc.]," were produced between the late 1970s and mid-1990s for Sonoma County public access cable television under direction of the Sonoma County Public Information Office, now known as the County Administrator's Office. Each segment features interviews with Sonoma County elected and appointed officials, department heads, and individuals associated with local educational and cultural organizations. Some segments also feature local business owners and include public service announcements.
