Enjoyable show and the band's first in Virginia. As usual for me the highlight was "Aceetobee" - a song I never seem to tire of. The sound is decent for the most part, but there is actually plenty better from this era.

I worked at Orbit's when the Biscuits played there. First off, they weren't anywhere near as big as they are now, and Orbit's is (was actually) a small restaurant that happened to get great bands, mainly through word of mouth from other bands. MoDeReKo, John Brown's Body, Brother's Past, and so on all graced the stage there. I'm generally not into electronica, so I see DB very seldom, but this show was different. Granted, they got electronic at points, but the show was much more straight up and jammy. VERY different from how they sound now. All Blues was great and a big surprise to me. I remember really liking Aceetobee and Morph Dusseldorf. Orbit's only seats 200, but there were at most 30 people there. The band was friendly (if not a little spun like the crowd) and ended up hanging out after the show. It was a good show, and really nostalgic for me since Orbit's was so dear to my heart, and has since closed. THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!
