i read the reviews, so of course i had to dl. they weren't lying, bisco were shooting out fire the whole show, munchkin>shem>jigsaw>munchkin is one of the sickest flows ever and the mr.don encore is off the walls. get it!

Disc II is utterly mindbending.........

Listened to this show in July 2007...looking back I am pretty sure this was my first Bisco show, before I even knew what the band was all about. This is a must-listen, hands-down! Check it out or eat my shorts!

Top notch recording as well, kudos. The biscuits even sing well at this show!

Disc 2 is some of the best biscuits ever played. legit.

I loved this transition-laden show from start to finish, but it did seem to keep getting better and better all the way through.

I streamed it at work and for some reason, Little Shimmy would not play so I missed out on that one.

Get this show if you haven't already! I was hesitant at first because I have so many shows already, but alas this show is my new favorite

I think so with 9/1 and 11/2. The recording sounds great, the sets are great, the encore is great. I could go into detail, or you could download and enjoy one of the finest Bisco shows out there.
I will say that the segue in Shimmy > Munchkins is the most perfect segue ever into Munchkins, which is a near flawless version.

*Edit* 10/14/04:
The reviewer below states that to his knowledge this is the only time the Biscuits have pulled off two completeley segued sets. This feat also occurred at Tammany Hall on 12/26/02, which is also a phenomenal show. It might have happened another time, but of the many many shows I've seen/heard, these are the only two that I can think of offhand.

*Edit* 2/17/05: I thought Frog Legs was the encore, but upon further review it's not, so I was wrong. That show is still great, as is this. Get both!

PS: on 12/26/02, wasn't there a break between Haleakala Crator and Froglegs? If so, this would be the only show without a break in both sets and encore.

Great show! Wonderful performance and recording quality. What is labeled as song 7 on disc 2 (the second part of Munchkin Invasion) won't fit on disc two so it is actually the first song of disc 3.

From the Hope opener all the way through the triple encore tDB did not stop playing -- literally! As far as I know this is the first time for this feat to have occured -- I'm not sure if it's happened since. Nevertheless, it is/was quite an achievement and really speaks to just what kind of a night 4/14/01 was. My personal highpoints of the show are the 'Lil Shimmy>Munchkin segue -- listen carefully and hear tDB play both songs at the same time! And also, the Mr. Don encore. Rare, great song and stellar version -- one of the best ever. In sum, so is this show. Get it now.
