Good, clear recording of a night that really brought the dance floor alive. I hadn't seen this band in a few years--loved them since the late 90s. They have gotten into a really nice groove at this point. Seamless transitions, wonderful playing off each other's leads, experimenting with a variety of tones, all the hallmarks of true masters of the jam. The acoustic set was noteworthy for being all "jerry tunes" (pretty sure he's been known to play Diamond Joe back in the day) and an absolute showcase for Barry. His pedal steel work is stunningly inventive, and his sweet acoustic leads rule on Ain't No Lie, Wind and Rain, and Deep Elem. Second set more than made up for a short first one. Mookie S. is a real treat on keys. It's the interplay that really builds heat on the dance floor.
