Updated from Finley map of 1825 & Mitchell 1834/37. Adds Wisconsin to the title, shows much railroad, canal, county, and road development from the two earlier issues, plus Lake Michigan has again been redrawn and Iowa appears. Karpinski shows this as the last issue, with issues of the 1834 edition in 1835, 36, 37, 38, and 39. Folded into stamped burgundy leather covers 13.5x8.5 with "Mitchell's Map Of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois & Michigan." in gilt. Full color. Inside the front cover "Population Of Ohio, Indiana & Illinois, by Counties in 1840." Prime meridian is Washington D.C.
