Paddle to the Sea (1966) Winsome tale of the little boy who dreams everyone else has vanished. Alone in Copenhagen, Palle does everything a small boy longs to do; he drives a streetcar, a fire engine, a stray auto and helps himself to candy and toys. An exciting climax flies him to the moon and parachutes him back to bed.
