Town officials recently met to address the current status of the COVID-19. Fairhaven has an emergency management team that is well prepared and organized.
While the threat to Fairhaven remains low, the recommendation to Towns like Fairhaven is to encourage prevention practices to its residents.
It’s imperative to reiterate these prevention measures and also to reiterate how important it is to practice them in helping to reduce the risk of contracting any viral infection, not just COVID-19:

1. Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
3. Cover your coughs and sneezes
4. Stay home if you are sick.
