A riveting collection of women's breasts from the beaches of Zandvoort in the Netherlands. I feel slightly uncomfortable by the voyeuristic undertones of the film but this is from 1985, so i feel that the statute of limitations has passed. Still, my catholic upbringing and its knee-jerk reactions to all expressions of bodily freedom and individuality had me screaming in my head: "Make yourself decent, woman!" Were it not for the hypnotic shapes of the womanly form that, I as a simple man of simple tastes, find so appealing I would have undoubtedly tuned out and continued with my day.

Watching all the ladies parade their breasts around on a crowded beach without incurring moral judgement or catcalls from onlookers made me wonder - if women walking around topless was a societal norm and not a deviation, would we consider it erotica? Indeed, in some indigenous tribes, unpolluted by the industrial revolution or organized religion, women with exposed breasts are not a sight to behold or taboo but expected and encouraged.

The current state of society where sensitivities and sensibilities have become so delicate that tempers flare at the sight of anything that could be construed or misconstrued as sexist may prompt some viewers to dismiss this video as a mere delight for the misogynist gawker. To rush to this judgement would place the film out of its historical context and instantly strip away(no pun intended) its documentarian, slice-of-life value. 10/10
