2011 Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Adam Riches made his BBC Radio 4 debut in 2012 with one-off pilot The Guns of Adam Riches . It was a fast-paced, fully-loaded bandolier of character comedy that brought such man-weapons as Coach Coach, MasterMind, Daniel Day Lewis, The Drifter and Cube-Voice Guy, plus live music and improvisation from whoever happened to be sat on the front row. Following the pilot, there were two series each focusing on a different character.

The first Chai Tea Radio Show of 2008 starts off with the kind of stuff that should be played at a folk dance and embraces 1980s video gaming freaks. A trainspotter is interviewed rather intermittently because he chases after a freight engine every time one goes past. The Oystar band pop up to be profiled and discuss their no. 25 chart hit 'I Fought The Lloyds', a song you should play loudly if your bank has ever screwed you over. King & Wong return as King Wong. On the last day of 2011, stand-up comedian and improv-fan Stewart Lee was asked to guest edit Today, the early-morning news show on BBC Radio 4. He invited in trombonist Alan Tomlinson to play before the weather forecast. American improv fans unaware of the British class system should find this instructive. This kind of uncomprehending incredulity is what improvisors and poets and socialists have to battle with here on a daily basis (and if they are not, they're doing something wrong!). Ben...

Expenses Only is a narrative sketch show centred around internships and the world of work experience. Put away your P45, you're not going to need it. Our two young interns, Tim (enthusiastic worker) and Miranda (jaded graduate), face heated hot-seating, intense lunch runs and jingle-themed back-stabbing as they compete for the same internship in the acronym-obsessed world of advertising. In each episode, the show's two leading 20-something protagonists attempt to break into a different industry...
