Akira Yamaoka composed the music for Silent Hill 2 . At his home, Yamaoka took three days to write the music for "Theme of Laura", Silent Hill 2's main theme, by combining "a sad melody" and "a strong beat", although he does not consider the melody to be the "most important" element of a musical piece. He wanted the music to evoke emotions in the player. Silent Hill 2 makes extensive use of sound effects ranging from screams to footsteps on broken glass....

This soundtrack and that of its immediate predecessor, Silent Hill 2 , are two proverbial peas in a pod. The similarities are obvious — they both use a blend of ambient tunes and "other" music, a lot of which is rock. The nice ordering of the tracks prevents either genre from abusing the listener's ear from repetition. And it's just some damn fine music. This is a beta soundtrack for the Unreal (2008) game for PC. Unreal was released in beta or demo versions throughout its development, including the background music. The music in this release is mainly from a 2007 beta release of the game plus three tracks from a technical demo from 1995 (tracks 45-47). Notes: For listeners of the original soundtrack for the official release of Unreal, there is some differences. A few of the tracks are identical in the official release while others have a quite...

This is the complete soundtrack for the pc game Unreal, with all tracks (at least I think so) featured in the game. The official soundtrack CD only featured 20 tracks while this one has 28. However, the tracks are converted from the original .umx files from the game and have not been remastered. Also, unused tracks are not included as I wanted this one to be a storytelling of the progression in the game. These tracks are instead included in another Unreal music pack, while others were featured...

Back in 1998 the game Unreal was released, but what some people didn't know was that there was also a promotional soundtrack sold of the games entire soundtrack. A few years ago I ran across one of those CD's. I have provided both a VBR MP3 copy of it and a FLAC copy with a CUE file included and the CD Artwork. Enjoy this rare find!

The Gunstringer is a third-person rail shooter video game developed by Twisted Pixel Games and published by Microsoft Studios for Xbox 360 with Kinect. It was originally planned as an Xbox Live Arcade release, but was later made into a full retail game. The soundtrack is a combination between classic western and southern rock, very nice to listen to.

Guilty Gear was the start of it all. In this album, you'll hear many of the rock themes you'll come to know in future iterations, such as "Keep Yourself Alive" and "Holy Orders (Be Just or Be Dead)." However, they aren't nearly as refined as their successors. Don't get me wrong, though. They are still highly enjoyable!
