Subject: Please use better gear

This show is EXACTLY what I would expect from someone using $60 mics and a MD recorder. All the clapping totally ruins this show. I would avoid this show and get the other source.

Subject: Great to hear!

It's good to hear people out there recording that are honest and work hard to make their shows sound good instead of sitting back and letting equipment that you bought with your parent's money do the work for you.

Keep going Jeff, I've been a fan of yours for years. These other lamers are just flash in the pans and will leave once they find a different "kewl" hobby.

Subject: Thanks

Thanks for giving those without Shorten access a way to hear Gavin's June 14th show. It's not always about if it's the best quality, just being able to share Gavin's music with fans makes it worth it whether there's crowd noise/good quality or not.

And a side note, the sound quality is actually good in mp3. I actually like to hear the crowd cheer and/or sing along if it's live.

Subject: Some people! *hmph*

The other reviewers are probably being bribed by the guy who recorded the other show to leave bad comments (same thing happened with the 6/1 show, people trashed Chris Jones' recording and praised the other guys while they both sound the same).

I think we owe more credit to people who are out there actually taping. People who don't tape should not be allowed to comment. This isn't a popularity contest.

Subject: Some reasons why...

Perfect example of why many of Gavin DeGraw's sources are so crappy sounding - compressed files, junky equipment, and the list goes on. Thanks for the recording "kingjeff", but everyone should get the AKG source. Sounds much better than this source and as "Jeff D." said, it is one of the best recordings of Gavin around.

Subject: Lots of noise.....

Lots of crowd noise, since it's a stealth job. I recommend the AKG source from Stephen G. His is def the best Gavin recording I've ever heard.
