The City of Garden Grove held a ceremony to honor Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts who raised and lowered the American Flag in local parks this year. Mayor Broadwater and City Council Members handed out awards at Garden Grove's Courtyard Center. U.S. Navy Veteran Terry Banning spoke to the scouts and their families about patriotism. And Jeremy Broadwater presented a video highlighting the summer of flag raising in the parks. The ceremony was concluded with a poem called "Duty to Our Flag," by Edgar A. Guest, read by Nicholas Tran of Boy Scout Troop 147. Reporter Vi Nguyen brings you the story.
