When people and organizations work together, great things can happen. The idea is to help those in need while allowing the Garden Grove Police Department to do their work. A mobile response unit in a well equipped blue van helps people dealing with mental illness, addiction and homelessness. Two trained crisis counselors render aid, transfer a patient to a medical facility or provide resources to help the person and improve a situation.
