Spread the word: Go Green Hilliard is hosting a Recycling Drop Off event on April 23!
Celebrate Earth Week by keeping unwanted Styrofoam, electronics, building materials, paper, and more out of the landfill.
The general public may drop off Styrofoam at Hilliard City Hall, and paper for shredding, electronics, and Habitat for Humanity items at Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park on Saturday, April 23 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
Styrofoam: Accepted materials include: packaging material, and foam coolers. Materials not accepted include: foam peanuts, construction grade foam (insulation), and foam food containers.
Electronics: Accepted materials include: computers, printers, fax machines, DVD and record players, cords, phones, cameras, Mp3 payers, video game systems, stereo equipment and small kitchen appliances. Materials not accepted include: TVs and monitors.
Shredding: Bring stacks or boxes of paper to Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park. All paper will be shredded and recycled.
Habitat for Humanity ReStore: Habitat ReStore accepts new and gently used appliances, furniture, building materials, household goods, plumbing and fixtures, flooring, windows, tools, non-fluorescent lighting, and new lumber.
