1. 1967 Detroit Lions offensive playbook (under new head coach {and former star linebacker} Joe Schmidt and offensive coordinator Bill McPeak. The Lions {who became the first team to lose to an AFL team when they lost an exhibition game to the Denver Broncos 13-7} finished the season 5-7-2; but became one of the few teams in NFL history to have both the league's Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year in running back Mel Farr and future Hall-of-Fame cornerback Lem Barney, respectively)
2. 1982 Detroit Lions defensive playbook (under head coach Monte Clark; defensive coordinator unknown if there was an official person holding that title. The Lions would finish the strike-shortened season 4-5 but manage to clinch the 8th and final spot in that season's Super Bowl Tournament but were knocked out in the opening round by the Washington Redskins 31-7)
