A Novel with a Twist
A superb story telling of the detective genre by Agatha Christie. In this novel, rich man Roger Ackroyd’s life is cut short with a Tunisian knife stuck unceremoniously on his neck. Our brilliant Belgian crime investigator Hercule Poirot is invited to find the murderer. In many of Poirot’s novels his helpful companion Captain Hastings would follow him around in the crime solving procedures and narrating as a first person. But this time Hastings is absent and Dr. Sheppard replaces his role as Poirot is just as happy to ask him to tag along. Dr. Sheppard also takes on the task of narrating the whole story as a first person. Approaching the last three chapters of the novel, eerie fears creep in and I feel suffocated as the noose is tightened and the truth revealed. No spoilers here.

This Copy is not worth the time
So they took a printed copy, took images of the first few pages, then a robot scanned the pages of the book, so you're left with fighting your way through jumping lines, page titles and the like inserted at odd places.
