Topics: Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Public Library, burial, death, Nazarene, church, Catholic, cemetery, graveyard
Loose ledger pages, school not identified.  Most pages are undated but the ones that are range from 1902-1906.  Several students mentioned, who were traceable through the censuses and plat maps, lived in adjacent sections 25/26/27 Alamo Township, which suggests the possibility that these records are from Tamarack School in section 28, although it is not entirely clear that all the records in this unbound set are from the same school.  These papers are the property of Alamo Township Museum,...

A record of the school board minutes for Cooper, District No. 2, Kalamazoo County, for 1837-1859.  The book shows the record for the districts' annual meeting and the special meetings that were occasionally held. While many of the school terms were defined, it was primarily a record of the officials elected and the finances for each year. The original text is followed by a typed transcription.  One of the original pages was written so as to be upside-down, but is transcribed right side up. ...
