I really enjoy the Attention K-Mart Shoppers collection gathered, cataloged, and uploaded by Mark Davis (all credit goes to him for the source of this material!) at https://archive.org/details/attentionkmartshoppers I've been using it as background music to work to ever since I first found his uploads. I found I was losing some time to making decisions every time I had to switch tapes, and some weren't as well suited for background audio for one reason or another. In an effort to address these I sorted them all by most listened to, downloaded and tested them each to identify a lot of my favorite ones (42 hours total, mainly tapes from between 1988-1992, but starting with 30th anniversary tape for an hour and a half, and then 1973 until 3 hours 30 minutes in), and while I was in there applied some light noise removal because, as the original uploader Mark mentioned, the tapes had some accumulated wear and tear from so much use. Now at the start of each workday I just track to a random position and let it play until it's time to clock out. A friend online asked if this edit was available online, I was encouraged by an Internet Archive expert to upload it (addressing my main concern about it being only a recombination and edit of someone else's upload), so here is that version.
Reminder: for more detailed information about individual tapes, including their years, months, or other notes, please refer to the original Attention K-Mart Shoppers collection by Mark Davis at https://archive.org/details/attentionkmartshoppers
